City of Split: the system for recording the transport of persons with disabilities
In mid-April, the project for the City of Split was successfully implemented, and a system for recording the transport of persons with disabilities was delivered, i.e. for persons with reduced mobility whose mobility was decreased due to any physical disability, intellectual disability or other cause of disability, or age. With this project, we confirm our efforts to raise the level of socially responsible business, all to facilitate mobility and make life easier for people who often cannot use public transport because they move in wheelchairs or are challenging to move.
The implemented system for recording the transport of persons with disabilities includes eight (8) handheld terminals for driving records, with carriers or chargers for installation in the vehicle. For handheld terminals, software was developed with the functionalities of registration and deregistration of driver work, validation and recording of user drive and data exchange with the central Cloud application. The central application is used to keep records and organise the transport of persons with disabilities and was developed according to the requirements of the Administrative Department for Social Welfare, Health Care and Demography of the City of Split. Three hundred (300) personalised contactless identification cards were also delivered for the needs of users and drivers. The transport card will be assigned to the users free of charge, and through them, the users will be registered at the handheld terminal in the vehicle during each departure trip.
