Passenger information system for Velika Gorica

Velika Gorica became the first big city in Croatia to introduce free local transport for its citizens! On July 1, city lines began to operate, and Arriva's buses operate on all sixteen (16) lines. With the new carrier, new lines have been introduced, which significantly increases the quality of local transport, and for the first time, Velika Gorica is getting recognizable buses.

In cooperation with Arriva, PENTA has implemented BusCARD SIP, a passenger information system that includes LED information panels that display the exact time, date, and name of the next station, as well as voice announcements of the next station. Furthermore, background software support was developed for managing the passenger information system, driver terminals were delivered, as well as ticket validators for recording the number of tickets and passengers. Considering that in accordance with the law on communal line passenger transport and Regulation (EC) no. 1370/2007, the carrier is obliged to issue a travel ticket, and every passenger is obliged to have a valid ticket for transport, the delivered validators have an integrated thermal printer for printing a travel confirmation for passengers who have not received a contactless card.

Penta develops BusCARD solutions exclusively according to the requirements and needs of individual users, and such solutions enable the upgrading of vehicle equipment with LED screens and text and voice announcements of the next station. Vehicle information systems can inform passengers about transport services, current and next stops, transfers, changes or emergency situations.
