RFID EVID - Soup Kitchen System For City Of Split
By introducing Penta`s RFID EVID system for recording and monitoring meal distribution, the City of Split - Department of Social Welfare and Health Care at Nov, 2014 raised soup kitchen to a higher level and enable transparent and efficient business processes, rational management of resources and information about user rights.
EVID RFID is the system that allows centralized and automated management of meal distribution through the parameters of rights, the quantities, time period and finally it is an excellent tool for planning financial resources and controls the food quantity that is shared.
The system is designed in accordance with the agreed specifications Department of Social Welfare and health care of the City of Split, with integrated rules that prevent misuse of the system while taking meals (preventing meals takeover more than users assigned rights allow).
This project includes delivery and installation of following equipment at the soup kitchen location: RFID readers, designed Mifare cards with printed unique ID card number, server with application and database, client computers, monitors, thermal printers...
Upon delivery of sysem for recording and monitoring meal distribution with standard reports, Penta`s development team conducted the education/training of the systems key users (administrators, employees of the City Office for Social Welfare, soup kitchens employees) with the aim of getting introduced with functioning all application modules that will be used in their daily work. The product of module are reports that enable you to view the list of users with the right for meals in the selected period of time, review of divided meals for the selected period of time (day, week, month), review of historical data about customer service and all the combination of selecting detailed and summary views.
