PENTA d.o.o., in partnership with SENSUM d.o.o. and 3E Projekti d.o.o. launches the SMART ECO PARKING project, another in a series of innovative projects co-financed by the European Union. The grant was awarded through the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020. from the European Regional Development Fund, based on the call for project proposals "Integrator". The estimated duration of project activities is two (2) years.

The project represents the transition of the current urban mobility through the innovative service "SMART ECO PARKING" and the innovative product "SMART PARKING" offering intelligent transport solutions for urban and stationary traffic (parking) and the development of green infrastructure and reducing the impact of climate change in urban areas. The project consortium consists of PENTA d.o.o., SENSUM d.o.o. and 3E PROJEKTI d.o.o., companies that each in its field of activity offers and complements an innovative complementary service and product that will be a novelty in the target markets, with the support of the integrator ECORYS HRVATSKA d.o.o. which will provide greater added value and representation in the target market. The innovative service and product that emerge as a result of cooperation are related to the field of sustainable urban mobility and intelligent transport solutions. They offer solutions for the sustainable development of transport in urban areas and traffic at rest (parking).

The first Kick-off meeting was held in December 2020, at which the establishment of a virtual office and a consortium cooperation department was initiated. The partners briefly presented their companies and agreed on the first activities to create and commercialise a joint innovative product that will be offered and placed on the market. Also, the first steps of promotion and visibility, branding of SMART ECO PARKING product and service, i.e. preparation of the logo, as well as the template of the project website that will be published soon, have been defined.
