SPARK Sense and AMANDA project presentation at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in Zagreb at the "Urban Traffic at a Standstill" conference
In the period from 10-11 October 2019, organized by the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in Zagreb, the conference "Urban traffic at a standstill" was held, at which the project SPARK Sense was presented. On the occasion of completion of the project, the results and achievements of the project were presented.
The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences Zagreb, a scientific research institution and a partner in this project, presented the results of the conducted research into the impact of the system on the environment. As part of the research, the faculty created an environmental impact study and a citizen satisfaction study with a new standstill traffic solution.
An attractive demonstration of the SPARK Sense system operation was a separate part of the project presentation. The project was presented by the Penta`s employees, Melisa Demarin, Nikolina Obadic, Darko Maljic, Aleksandar Strmotic and Oskar Vujicic, led by Penta`s CEO Mladen Pamic. Web and mobile application modes are presented, as well as a way to reserve a parking space using the SPARK Sense system.
Along with the SPARK Sense project, the AMANDA project (Horizon 2020, www.amanda-project.eu) was also presented, all with the aim of connecting and exchanging knowledge in terms of technological development. The high interest of all present was expressed, which was reflected in the affirmative and substantive discussion.
Encouraged by the successful completion of the project, Penta continues to develop the SPARK Sense system further and to improve autonomous multi-sensor parking barriers.
