The M3a tripod is an automated, three-way, fail-safe motor access control barrier which automatically gets down the barrier when the power is turned off and automatically restarts the barriers when it comes to power supply, all in order to ensure fast and safe passage in case of emergency. It includes control electronics, engine, alarm, two-way LED pass-through permit (passage controlled in both directions) and 220V AC supply.

The robust housing is made of stainless steel, 1235x280x1000 mm dimensions without barriers, and the barrier is 500 mm long.

Entrance activation is possible in several ways:

- Activation via remote control (integrated wireless remote receiver with internal antenna) to enable employee passage

- Activation with paying with the coins without the possibility of refunding the excess of paid money (a vending machine installed in a trpod case with a cash box and a coin access lock)

- Activating passages through non-contact RFID cards (Mifare...) by putting the card on the RFID reader/printer (encoder)

- Access control via paper labels/coupons with printed barcode (2D barcode imger) on itself

Activation of the exit is possible by pressing the button embedded in the tripod housing from the output side. The metioned button is located on the opposite side of the tripod in the direction of the normal passage of the person.

Below the top cover is a control panel that serves to read the status and test its function. The tripod lid top opens with the key and the lid is raised upwards. Beneath the tripod cover is a control board, secured by a metal housing, which connects and controls the operation of all parts of the device and installed readers.

The Master Tripod is fitted with a PC Controller that monitors the operation of up to 4(ver.1) or up to 8(ver.2) tripods connected via Tripod Board electronics control. The Controller contains a CF memory card with program support through which are implemented tripod work logic, access control parameters and PC server-to-computer connection via LAN network.

The tripods are delivered fully programmed and configured according to customer's request and their installation is very simple: the device must be mounted on a flat and raised concrete base, thickness min 25 cm, fasten with the four screws and connect to the 220V AC power supply.
